Passenger car registrations in the Eu: +13.7% in November, +8.7% over 11 months

In November, European passenger car market increased by 13.7%, marking the 27th consecutive month of growth with a significant expansion and totaling 1,085,259 units sold. Encouraging results from all main national markets: double digit numbers for Spain (+25.4%), Italy (+23.5%, with 134,021 registrations, 25 thousand more than in October 2014) and France (+11.3%), followed by good performances of Germany (+8.9%) and UK (+3.8% after the decline showed in October).

Considering the period January-November 2015, passenger car registrations reached +8.7%, with 12,603,855 units, +1 million over the same period last year and surpassing even 2014 full volumes. The overall upturn was supported by all major European markets: Spain (+20.9%) and Italy (+15.5%, nearly 200 thousand registrations more compared to the first 11 months of 2014) both posted double digit growth, followed by UK (+6.2%), France (+6.2%) and Germany (+5.4%).
