EU passenger car registrations: +5,7% in 2014.

Reaching 951,329 units sold in December (+4.7% over the same period last year) EU passenger car registrations recorded the sixteenth consecutive month of growth.

With regard to the largest national markets, Spain showed the best result (+21.4%) followed by the UK (+8.7%) and Germany (+6.7%).

Italy stands in fourth position with 91,518 passenger cars registered in the last December (+2.4%).

New passenger cars registered in 2014 in EU are a total of 12,550,771, +5.7% over the last year, giving a proof that the market is growing again after 6 years of negative trend.

In the last 12 months the Italian market showed a growth of 4.7%, a figure higher than the one recorded by Germany (+2.9%).
