Marking the eleventh consecutive month of growth, in November commercial vehicle registrations totaled 179,930 units, increasing by 17.8%. Except for France (+5.6%), all main national markets posted double digit growth, with significant results in Spain (+52.2%) and Italy (+28.4%, with 14,429 new registrations, over 3 thousand more than in November 2014), followed by Germany (+14.9%) and UK (+14.3%).
The overall growth was supported by all segments: light commercial vehicles marked the 27th consecutive month of growth with 148,322 units sold (+16.7%) while heavy trucks and trucks reached respectively +25.1% and +22.9%, mainly pushed by Spain, Italy and by the strong recovery of the UK market. Good news also from Bus and coach segment (+26.3%), sustained by France, Spain and Germany.
From January to November demand for new commercial vehicles reached +12.2%, with 1,887,274 units (205 thousand over the same period last year). Over eleven months all major national markets expanded: Spain (+37.9%), UK (+16.4%), Italy (+11.9%, with 134,083 new registrations), Germany (+3.9%), France (+2.4%).
